Please keep a copy of your registration agreement for your records:
By digitally signing this agreement, you acknowledge:
The order period for Thursday pickup begins at noon Mondays and closes at 5 PM Tuesdays. The order period for Saturday pickup begins at noon Mondays and ends at 5 PM Thursdays. You may place or change your order at any time while the order period is open. Orders may not be placed or changed before or after that time.
The farmers market supports you in the setup and maintenance of your online customer profile but is not able to create an online profile or place a regular weekly order for you.
You will not hold the Franklin County Farmers Market, Local Food Marketplace, Franklin County Cooperative Extension Office, City of Frankfort, Park Board, Commonwealth of Kentucky, other Farm to Frankfort participants, or any employees or volunteers of said services listed in this agreement jointly liable for any complaints or civil or criminal actions that might arise as the result of Farm to Frankfort program participation.
These extraordinary times highlight the importance of local farms and food. You can support the food access and other work of our market by joining the Friends of the Franklin County Farmers Market and/or making a contribution to support our Double Dollars Program and other food access work. Simply add a Friends Membership or a contribution to "Support Access to Fresh, Local Food for All" to your shopping cart on the market's online store.
Pick-Up Instructions for those pre-ordering for Thursdays:
Farm to Frankfort (workplace delivery customers) will have their items delivered to their workplaces on Thursday mornings.
Curbside pickup customers should come to the market at their assigned pickup window. There is no need to get out of the car. Just pull up to the pavilion at Riverview Park and open your trunk. Your assigned pickup window is assigned by the first letter of your last name.
9:30-10 AM A-L
10-10:30 AM M-Z
Pick-Up Instructions for those pre-ordering for Saturdays:
Print off your final order confirmation that is emailed to you on Thursday evening. You could also have it pulled up on your phone when you arrive at the Market.
Between 8:30 AM and noon, stop at the Market. Visit each booth of the vendors that you pre-ordered from and tell them you are there to pick up your items. Tell them your name. If you can't find at booth, ask the team at the Welcome Desk and they can direct you.
Instructions for all customers picking up at market:
To protect the health of our staff, volunteers, vendors, and the community, do not come to market to pick up your order if you are feeling unwell. Contact us before your pick up window, and we will work with you to figure out an alternative. Contact us by texting Laura at 502-533-2074 or emailing us at Sales@franklincountyfarmersmarket.org.
Once the online ordering period closes, we are unable to cancel, change, or refund orders. If you are unable to come pick up, please try to find a friend to pick up in your stead. Any orders that are not picked up at the end of market (unless alternate arrangements have been made in the case of illness) will be donated to the Access Soup Kitchen or Franklin County Women’s Shelter.
If there is a problem with your order or you are missing an item, please contact the vendor directly. You can find their email address or phone number on the vendor page of the website: https://fcmarket.localfoodmarketplace.com/Producers
Fees and Payments
The minimum order amount to be placed online is $10. This limits the percent of sales spent on credit card processing fees.
You must enter a credit card to be charged at the close of the order period or must carry a sufficient balance (prepaid with the Franklin County Farmers Market) to place your order. You must update your credit card information on file when your credit card expires or is deactivated. Your order will not be delivered if payment is not made before delivery.
You will be charged at $2.50 service fee each week you order. If you pay with SNAP or have limited income, your fee can be waived. See more information here.
Instructions for SNAP/EBT/Double Dollars/Incentive customers
Yes! You can use those funds here with the online market if you are picking up in person on Thursdays or Saturdays. This is what you do:
Email Laura Fincher at email@example.com and let her know you would like to shop with SNAP. She will edit your account to make that a choice when you check out.
Then, choose your products during your open order window. https://fcmarket.localfoodmarketplace.com/Products
Click on the shopping cart in the upper righthand corner. Choose "View and Confirm Order." Click the orange "Confirm Order" and press okay.
Enter the discount code to waive the $2.50 service fee. See information here.
A notice will come up at the top saying "Please enter a credit card to confirm this order, or select another payment preference if applicable. Click here to update payment information." Select that and change your payment method from Credit Card to SNAP/EBT. You will likely still need to enter a credit or debit card. This is for if your benefits do not cover the cost of your order or if you purchase items not covered by these benefits (such as soap). The remainder of your balance will be paid with your card. Press Update and hit Confirm Order again.
You will be sent an Order Confirmation email. Forward that to Kellie Sebastian, Market Manager, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Let her know you are paying with SNAP and she will help you run your card.
Make sure to take advantage of the Kentucky Double Dollars money that is being given to you! Make sure you have $12 in fruit and veggies and at least $8 in meat, eggs and dairy. We will apply the $20 before running your card.
If you have questions about the SNAP program, please ask Kellie at email@example.com.
The following week, if you are out of SNAP/EBT benefits, please choose Credit as your mode of payment and you can use your credit or debit card to pay for your order.
